STRANGERS KNOW MORE, a play on words to depict the fact that they are friends and great musicians, the line-up has changed a few times over the years but never the concept. Their commitment to their music makes them a force to be reckoned with.
Chris Ames, founder member, guitarist, singer, and songwriter, spent many years, as a guitarist, touring the USA and Europe with some great bands and artists from the world of Rock, Blues and Country, it is this background that has influenced his song writing, a view of life that is not always pleasant, however, always passionate! Born and raised in North London, now with homes in both London and France, he spends most of his time in central France, where live music is still very much alive and kicking! Robbie Bayliss, bassist and band member for many years, met Chris whilst serving his apprenticeship as a bass player journeyman, playing the many London clubs during their heyday. He now also lives in France, deciding to move there permanently when the gigs and recording became so frequent it was consequently more difficult to leave. Jeremy Piau, drums and percussion, making a welcome return to the band after a few years. "I'd like to think of this as a turn of the page for the Band. We've got Jeremy back on board; we've made a start on the new album and set a date for the recording studio (July). The preproduction for the new songs is going really well and has a good feel to it .
